Am 16. August wird unsere liebe Makazi Ncebakazi Mfokofi – „Kofi“ zu Grabe getragen.
Eine Delegation unseres Kinderheims, 3 erwachsene Personen/Kolleginnen werden teilnehmen. Die Beerdigung findet im Eastern Cape statt in der Nähe von Ngcobo (ihrem Heimatort) statt. Ngobo ist 1100 Km von uns entfernt, bedeutet, allein die Kosten mit dem Bus wird etwa 3500 Rand (für 3 Personen) ausmachen. Dazu wollen wir sicher noch ein bisschen Blumenschmuck mitbringen und hier ist „usus“ dass man der Familie vielleicht einen finanziellen Zustupf für den Aufwand der Beerdigung gibt.

On 16 August, our dear Makazi Ncebakazi Mfokofi – ‘Kofi’ – will be laid to rest.
A delegation from our children’s home, consisting of three adults/colleagues, will attend. The funeral will take place in the Eastern Cape near Ngcobo (her hometown). Ngobo is 1,100 km away from us, which means that the bus fare alone will cost around 3,500 rand (for three people). We would also like to bring some floral decorations, and it is customary here to give the family a financial contribution towards the cost of the funeral.
